This week we visit a penthouse unit in the hip Jalan Besar area. Homeowners Lendl and Karen love to entertain and host late-night gatherings, so it was a no brainer to incorporate a home bar set up in their home. What’s amazing is just how much the space has been overhauled, with the original layout completely turned on its head. It’s a duplex penthouse sized at 893 square feet that used to contain 2 bedrooms, with the master bedroom on the top floor - along with an open balcony.
They decided to revamp the master bedroom and turned it into a proper home bar instead. In its place, they now have an island counter, arched neon lights at the entrance, and open shelving to display various bottles of alcohol (just like what you might find at a bar). What’s special is Lendl also has a homebrew setup, along with beer on tap, and an open fridge to display non-alcoholic beverages. On the first floor, the original place of the kitchen and guest bedroom has been turned into a master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe. And to fully utilised the space, they’ve also constructed built-in cabinets that reach up to the ceiling. Watch the full video on Stacked Homes. Thank you Stacked Homes for the feature!
